What little I knew about Cleveland came from athletics. Year after year, I watched the Cleveland Cavaliers, headed by the one and only LeBron James, annihilate the Toronto Raptors in the playoffs. I watched the Indians rise under amazing players like Jim Thome David Justice, and my brother.

I would often fight to the death to determine who would be the Indians in Ken Griffey Baseball for the N64.

What I learned about Cleveland through sports is that it is a passionate, blue-collar city, which is the city I prefer. I adore cities that have grit, character, passion, and a tale to tell. I mean, why do you believe I spent three years in Istanbul?

5 Tourist Places in Cleveland:

1. BEST BREWERIES IN CLEVELAND

When I started conducting some research on the greatest breweries in Cleveland, Ohio, how many there were. In Cleveland, there’s a nice brewery within walking distance almost all of the time. And who doesn’t enjoy a good brewery crawl?  I wasn’t visiting Cleveland alone, but with Carol Cain, who operates the site and brand Girl Gone Travel, as well as Brave World Media.

If I were you, I would begin at a place called Great Lakes Brewery Works in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighbourhood. It’s one of the most well-known in the city, and you can take an open-ended factory tour (located at the Michigan-based Great Lakes Brewery Co. Beer Colloquium at 1951 West 26th Street, Suite 100) on Fridays as well as Saturdays from 12-8 p.m., with tours starting every hour.

2. MUSEUM OF ART

The Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) is a stunning and expansive museum in Cleveland, Ohio’s University Circle neighbourhood. It houses over 45,000 works of art spanning several mediums and time eras, from ancient to modern. It is one of the biggest galleries of art in the country. Not only can you enjoy a wonderful collection of artwork, but you can also learn about the evolution of art and the talented individuals who created each item.

3. CLEVELAND SCRIPT SIGNS

How about those Cleveland lettering signs as an example of a great tourist initiative by the city? The most renowned Cleveland script sign is the one in Edgewater Park. But Carol and I went to the Cleveland script sign nearest to us as we were leaving Ohio City. So, we headed to 1502 Abbey Ave.

The third Cleveland script sign I noticed is at Rivergate Park on the Cuyahoga River’s banks. It’s possible to get a photo with all three, and it’s actually quite enjoyable. I despise the term “Instagrammable,” but I must confess that the Cleveland script signage falls into that category.

4. MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is jam-packed with amazing artefacts, immersive experiences, and possibilities for learning. The museum’s exhibits range from ancient dinosaur bones to modern species and investigate the natural world.

Furthermore, the museum conducts incidents, classes, and seminars to keep visitors informed of the most recent natural scientific findings. Remember to stop by the retail outlet on your way out for a distinctive and distinctive souvenir.

5. CLEVELAND SPORTS

I’m from Toronto, a sports-crazed city, and I moved to Cleveland after the Raptors won the NBA title. In cabs and Uber trips, I’d talk about the chaos that followed in the streets after we won the championship, and everyone got it because LeBron brought a title home for the Cavaliers not long ago.

Toronto is absolute happiness when the Leafs, Raptors, and Jays are going well. If not, let’s say there are more frowns on the tube and more cars honking.
