This is the least basic set of weapons in Endless Dungeon.
Endless Dungeon has a lot of different types of enemies, but the Blobs might be the most annoying. The Blobs are an aggressive type of enemy that can overwhelm you with numbers, protect you sometimes, and hurt you with painful ranged attacks.
This means that you need to be ready to fight these enemies, which means you will need acid weapons. When it comes to this type of enemy, these tools work the best. How about you? Which one is the best? When is the best time to use them?
Acid Drops
Your pick of Acid Drops is fine to use against Blob enemies, but it doesn’t really do anything great. Because of this, it’s more likely that any other acid tool will be better. It’s pretty flexible, and its stats are fair enough that it can do most things you need it to. But in late game, its low DPS makes it pretty useless, and the mods that are out there don’t help much either.
When To Use The Acid Drops
This is a good choice if you can see Blobs coming and need an acid tool to fight them. When given the choice between two weapons, however, the second one is likely to be chosen.
Acid Hoser
The Acid Hoser is an okay acid weapon that you can use in Endless Dungeon, just like the Acid Drops. However, it is not as good as the other options. It does have a long range, so this is a good choice if you need to stay away when you’re using a weak or big character. Another difference is that it does a lot more damage than Acid Drops, which is normal for a heavy weapon.
When To Use The Acid Hoser
There isn’t much knockback with this acid weapon, so it’s good for keeping your distance. However, the space won’t last long, so make sure you have some turrets ready to help defend the person who is using it.
Pest Spray
Because the other two choices for a handheld acid weapon are so much better, Acid Drops is easy to forget about. The second best choice is Pest Spray. Its DPS more than makes up for its low but balanced stats, which aren’t very amazing. In addition, it is a very easy weapon to use. If you are just starting Endless Dungeon, you should look for this weapon if you are on a floor with Blobs.
When To Use The Pest Spray
Pest Spray can be used for many things. Acid doesn’t hurt Bugs, so this is a great tool to use unless you’re fighting Bugs. But keep in mind that its range isn’t very far, so if your character is weak, you might want to switch to something with a longer range.
Splattergun
Because it hits hard and has a long range, the splattergun is a great strong acid weapon. It doesn’t do as much damage as you might hope for a big weapon, but it makes up for it by being able to keep lots of people in line. Because so many Blobs usually attack at once and you need to hit them from different directions, this weapon is great for making sure you can kill a bunch of them. Many Blobs are weak, which makes this a pretty easy way to kill them if you have the right buffs.
When To Use The Splattergun
If you have a character near a Blob spawn point and don’t want anything to get through, leave them with some boosting turrets. This weapon should be able to block any path that comes their way.
Needler
That’s what makes the Needler such a cool weapon in Drive Mad: it’s simple. In that way, it’s like Acid Drops, but this does a lot more damage and fires almost as often. There is no knockback, so this is not the best acid weapon for controlling a crowd. However, it is the best acid weapon for one-handed use in all other situations.
When To Use The Needler
If you can get this acid weapon and your character isn’t being used to keep people in line, then do it. This is a great way to quickly kill Blob enemies because many of them aren’t very strong.
Death Darts
There are some Blob enemies that can do a lot of damage, but most of them are pretty easy to go after. They move slowly, so it can take a while to beat them. This is where Death Darts really shine. Its DPS is a little lower than Needler’s, but its great range, good knockback, and elemental damage more than make up for it. Keeping these enemies away is very important because they can do a lot of damage to your Crystal Bot.
When To Use The Death Darts
This is the best tool to use if you have a heavy character protecting the Crystal Bot from tanky Blobs. For the long range to work, you need to make sure you have enough room.
