1. Museum of Art

5. Public Square

Public Square in Downtown Cleveland is a popular destination for free sightseeing. Around the area, you may see the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial (which in turn visitors can always walk inside for free), the Old Stones Church, and the terminal’s Signal Tower. In the winter, Public Square is a winter paradise, complete with a massive Christmas tree, ice skating rink, and seasonal lighting display.

6. Heinen’s 

Another free architectural gem in Downtown Cleveland is the Cleveland Trust Co. building, which was built in 1907 and is a mix of Beaux-Arts, Neoclassical, and Renaissance Revival architectural styles. This old structure, which is now home to a Heinen’s grocery store, is still an excellent spot to visit while travelling in Cleveland. The Rotunda’s glass dome is worth a look, and there are cheap food and wine and beer tastings on the second floor.

7. West Side Market

West Side Market is located in the Ohio City area of Cleveland. It is a hybrid of a food hall, a farming-based market, and a regular grocery shop. A West Side Market food tour is a terrific opportunity to discover the market and enjoy local specialties if you want to get the absolute most of your stay. However, if you’re on a strict budget and don’t want to spend any cash, wandering about the flea market is entirely free!
