Number of Schools in Pakistan

Pakistan is a country located in southern Asia. The official name of Pakistan is “Islamic Republic of Pakistan”. The population of Pakistan is approximately 207 million people, making it the sixth most populous country in the world.

The land area of Pakistan is 796,095 square kilometers, making it the 33rd largest country in the world. The education system in Pakistan is overseen by the Ministry of Education, which is responsible for developing and implementing educational policies in the country. There are four levels of education in Pakistan: primary, secondary, higher secondary, and tertiary.

There are more than 170,000 primary schools in Pakistan, with a enrollment of over 27 million students. Secondary schools are attended by about 15 million students, while higher secondary schools have an enrollment of 5 million students. There are also numerous private schools and madrassas (religious schools) operating in the country.

At the tertiary level, there are around 1120 degree-granting institutions in Pakistan, including universities and colleges. These institutions provide education to over 2 million students each year.
