Day 1:
Srinagar to Sonmarg: The journey begins around noon in Srinagar central by car. It will take about 3 hours to Sonmarg.Overnight on the Tajwais Glacier.In camp on the banks of the river Sindh.This is essential to ensure optimization.A brief hike to The Tajwais Glacier can be wonderful to get into the highest conditions.
NICHNAI ALTITUDE OF VALLEY 3500METERS
Day 2:
Sonmarg To Nikalnai 6 hours trek 11.km Distance trek begins at Sonmarg to Shekdur.The trail is lined with vast pastures, tall pine trees, awe-inspiring pine trees with white mountains, lush grass, and the glacier stream which will flow through the way.The route will lead towards Silver Birch Forest and eventually goes on route Boulder Route to Nichnai Valley. It will be your first experience on the mountain tops of the trek, so headaches are commonplace.
VISHANSAR LAKE ALTITUDE 4000 MMETERS
Day 3:
Nichnai Nichinai Vishansar Alpine Great Lake Trek that takes 7 hours and a distance of 13 kms. The route begins in Nichinai Valley. The first three hours of steep climbing towards Niklai Pass.The pass is around 4000 meters in elevation. The meadows on the way are filled with a stunning assortment of wild flowers. They provide a stunning panorama of the magnificent Himalayan mountains. Day 4:
Krishnasar Alpine Great Lake: It is an enjoyable day. You can go on a short hike excursion to Krishnasar lake, and then take in the surrounding views. Trout fishing is an option.The meadows around the lakes are beautiful.
YAMSAR as well as GADSAR LAKE ALTITUDE 4300METERS
Day 5:
Vishansar from Gadsar Alpine Great Lake 8 hours Trek and 16 km Distance: It’s an extremely difficult day for every person in the group, you must have the ideal weather conditions to traverse the Gadsar pass.The trek begins from Vishansar.The initial climb from Krishnasar Lake is comfortable.A two hours steep climb to Krishnasar Lake covers a distance of 4300m to Gadsar.The true paradise from Gadsar Pass begins with the magnificent Great Lakes.A breathtaking panorama from Yamsar Lake and Nanga Parbat is feasible on a clear day. SATSAR Lake’s altitude is 3400 meters.
Day 6:
Gadsar up to Satsar Alpine Great Lakes Trek 4 hours and 10km Distance: The trail begins at Gadsar Campsite.After passing over the frozen bridge, it’s an easy climb until Kasturkut. Unlike Kasturkut there is a continuous settlement with nomadic headdresses known as Javdora.After Kasturkut you will take an exit to the left and reach Satsaran camp.After getting to the camp site, you can be able to see that the lake is Satsar Lake.
HARMUKH PEAK and GANGABAL LAKE ALTITUDE 4000 MEETERS
7 DAYS:
Magandob from Gangabal Twin Alpine Great Lakes Trek 6 hours and 11 km Distance route begins with a three-hour hike to Mengandob up to the Zaji Pass.From Zaji Pass you will be able to see Twin lakes Gangabal along with Nandkhol with an unobstructed view from the top of the mountain (Harmukh 5400 m elevation) which includes Kholsar Lake.There are other lakes visible from the pass.It is a little difficult to travel down the hill from Zaji Pass to Gangabal Campsite close to the lake.
NARANAG VILLAGE, TEMPLE ALTITUDE AND 2200 METERS
Day 8:
A trek of 6 hours to Gangabal up to Narang Valley and 15 km Distance: The route begins from a short walk to Trundkhul and the Budshear Ridge. After 4 hours of strenuous climb before the ridge’s top towards Narang Valley. After arriving at Naranag, you can visit the remains of the 4000-year-old Naranag Temple and drive on to Srinagar.
